Terry Richardson is a fashion, portrait, and documentary photographer. He has conducted photo shoots for Vogue, Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, and GQ. I’ve always loved Terry Richardson and his fun-filled celebrity shoots. Initially, his subjects are shot before a white background, creating a simplistic atmosphere. Though his backdrops are average, I favor his creativity in imagery. As the original photographer he is, Richardson has eventually experimented with artful backdrops. He is well-known for “posing with his subjects, often trading his trademark glasses with them, so they may “pretend to be him and vice versa.” I’d like to conduct a few Terry Richardson inspired shoots of my own using a polaroid.
